Our team
RALF SCHERNUS-KIM
Born in the Palatinate region, he moved to London after completing his training as a hairdresser. At Toni & Guy he deepened his knowledge and concentrated on precise haircuts, which he was able to implement perfectly at the salon in London’s Covent Garden. As a top stylist, he took part in fashion shows and photo shoots.
Since Ralf was always hungry for new things, he started working for hotels and restaurants. Back in Germany, he founded his own butler service in Berlin looking after VIP guests from politics, music and film worldwide in private as well as in the five-star hotel industry. As head butler, he organised the smooth running of an ambassador’s residence in Berlin for several years.
Ralf returned to his roots in 2020 and founded Scissorhands, his own hairdressing concept. In May 2021, he opened his own lifestyle salon at the Heckmann-Höfe creative quarter, an oasis in the middle of Berlin
For him, hairdressing is one of the most beautiful crafts. Ralf not only inspires his guests with his individual haircuts and brilliant hair colours; his customers greatly appreciate his warm, friendly and open manner, which they repeatedly express in their reviews.
JEESIK KIM
Jee comes from South Korea and grew up in the cosmopolitan city of Seoul. Already in his youth, he noticed his talent for singing and his creativity.
After graduating from high school, Jee studied classical singing and completed his studies with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Since 2015, Jee has been living in Germany and expanding his vocal and creative skills here.
After his training as a make-up artist and stylist, Jee works for film productions and photo shoots, among other things.
Jee is the specialist for make-up and styling questions. In the future, he plans to share his knowledge and skills with our guests at salon events and offer fantastic Korean skin-care and cosmetic products at the salon.
